What I'm hired to do

Four areas where a strategy-led PM with design depth moves the needle fastest.

01

Product strategy & discovery

Frame the problem, not just the feature. I run discovery, pressure-test assumptions, and turn messy signals into a roadmap engineering and leadership can commit to. Outcome: fewer wasted quarters, sharper bets.

02

Activation & retention

First use to habit is where most products leak value. I diagnose funnels, prioritise with RICE, run experiments, and ship the changes that move the metric (not the ones that demo well). Neurofenix: +50% activation. Meteor: 0 to 5M, #1 retention in category.

03

Multi-stakeholder platforms in regulated environments

Products where patients, clinicians, executives, and engineers all need different things from the same system, with compliance baked in from day one. Ten years across MedTech, FinTech, and Telecom, including B2B2C pivots and enterprise platform builds.

04

Design-led product calls

I read design at a level most PMs never touch (structure, hierarchy, trust, emotional impact), and I use that depth to sharpen prioritisation, specs, and trade-offs. Not to own Figma, to make the roadmap better.

Neurofenix – 2021–2025

Led product strategy and design for a platform serving patients, clinicians, and health systems. Defined the enterprise roadmap, ran user research, and designed the product that delivered a 50% activation lift.

Reframe, a Product Office venture – 2026

A 0 to 1 venture. Built a seven-criteria scoring engine for in-store frame recommendations, then let real on-face evidence overturn a third of my own rankings. Designed and shipped the clickable product myself.

Neurodivergent Traits Screener, a Product Office study – 2026

A 0 to 1 study in making a health tool honest. Designed the two-path flow and a scoring model built to route people onward, never to conclude, then engineered a 96-item bank for reliability and logged every decision.

Strategy-led PM with rare design depth

I'm Malgo Perrien, the product manager behind The Product Office, my independent product practice.

10 years across MedTech, FinTech, and Telecom. Strategy, discovery, roadmaps, experiments, stakeholder alignment, across engineering, clinical, and commercial teams.

Based in Paris. English and French. Working mostly with teams across the UK and the US.

I specialize in multi-stakeholder platforms in regulated environments, products where patients, clinicians, executives, and engineers all need different things from the same system. That's a product problem most people avoid. I go deep into it.

What makes me different: I read design at the level most PMs never touch. Structure, hierarchy, emotional impact. I use that depth to make sharper roadmap calls, not to own Figma. That's why the products I ship don't just work, they get used.
